Equipping the Church to Reach Men Who Won't Ask for Help

The Hangar is a men's ministry that helps churches engage men through authentic community so that they can live fully known in community, and grow in maturity as disciples of Jesus. We understand that for this to take place, every man, including pastors, need place where they can be seen and fully known.

Whats the Problem?

The hardest men to reach are often the ones who need it most, but many churches aren’t sure how to close that gap. In our experience, men are lonely and more isolated in their shame than ever, and unfortunately, they often equate the church with those feelings.

The Hangar was built specifically for them, creating space where men can be honest, find community, and commit to becoming more whole husbands, fathers, and members of your churches.

What we offer?

Weekly Gatherings.

Small groups that meet consistently, giving men a regular rhythm of community and accountability. A place to show up week after week without having to have it all together. We offer half a dozen men’s groups weekly that meet both in person and virtually. gage with their families and your churches. We also understand that pastors need a place to take their own struggles, and the Hangar prides itself on being a space where pastors are able to do so.

Larger Events

Coaching weekends and adventure trips that create breakthrough moments, the kind that shift how a man sees himself and the people around him. Designed for men who wouldn't walk into a traditional ministry setting, and grounded in a healthy foundation through the presence of both pastoral leadership and licensed therapists. While we are not in the business of providing diagnoses, we do provide confidentiality and a safe place to work out things men typically avoid.

A Network You Can Count On

The Hangar isn't a program with an end date. It's an ongoing community of men committed to each other's growth. For pastors especially, it's a rare space where you're not expected to lead, perform, or have the answers. Just show up as a man.

Support for our Pastors.

Ideally, men are invited to our Hangar groups, attend and connect to a group of spiritually mature men, and return encouraged and ready to further engage with their families and your churches. We also understand that pastors need a place to take their own struggles, and the Hangar prides itself on being a space where pastors are able to do so.
